If you want things to easily have a "painterly" look, learn oils.

If you want to make memeschlock joke art, learn acrylics.

Oils aren't really much "harder." Same same but different. Just stays goddamn wet forever and doesn't easily wash out of your school pants and stuff.

Like acrylic is good for when you don't have to mix colors and want to do simple solid coloring and stuff. But to get it to play well for bullshit like portraits involves either using additives or taking a layering approach and whatever else. And ultimately it's to make something that looks kind of childish and plastic-y and weird, while oils kind of effortlessly look nicer and more appealing and more impressive to normals and know nothings. If you focus on acrylics you're learning a bunch of different bullshit that's only really applicable to acrylics, and because there isn't much of an interest in acrylics in the "fine arts" there are much less resources available or debate about them.

I like acrylics because it's much more of an unexplored thing than oils and when you start getting weird with retarders and glosses and opacity and stuff they can do some neat things.

>Only problem
not actually a problem
>is that everyone sees
you're a narcissist
>that you have nothing to offer but negativity
You are hyper negative. And obsessive and frustratingly stupid. Do you not realize this?
>but lay claim on everyones attention
I'm not "laying claim" on shit. You're giving it to me.

>you got a thing with smelly blankets, aye?
yeah they fucking stink.
>no you aren't blanket abusive, you're basically yelling down a sewer pipe in wasteland.
I thought you were the one whining about how I thought everyone here was an asshole or whatever?
>nobody gives a fuck
except for (you) clearly. How long you think it's been that you've been stalking me now?
