Are you getting closer to your goals?
If not, then you're not making gains.
If you have no goals, why are you even drawing?

Time is just what passes when you draw. What really matters is whether or not you're striving for something. That is, you need direction. That is what the goals are for. Without them, it's like going in circles while you're lost in a forest. You won't ever get out and will die.

5-6 hours a day is more than enough. You can even see here how much you can improve just on a year to year basis.

Yeah, some what.
You won't be as good as someone who's been doing art for a while like 10+ years.
But you can probably improve enough to be their 1-3 years level.
Here's a bit of an idea of what can be achieved in a year, not too shabby in my opinion.
