Because if they don't litter the website with ugly people they will get 24/7 emails from rabid "artists" saying they offer no diversity and are body-shaming and blah-blah-blah.

Especially if the website tries to earn a profit from some sort of subscription, they can't afford the negative press the ugliness-venerating crybabies will lobby to put out. It hurts sales.

A happy solution could be labeling body types, so if you want to see fatsos you can select it, but these people never have enough. So they would complain that what you call "average" is actually racist or some shit.

t. have worked on way less body-related businesses that were swamped by this kind of "people" with a lot of free time and no brain cells. And higher-ups who shit their breeches when they see the angry mob, so they cave in.
