Trying to get into working with watercolor. I only bothered to reference the cat and crumpled cloth. This was painted on cotton paper with some unbranded student grade paints. I had a really hard time with the colour drifting to the edges as can be seen where the background meets the characters. Is this because of poor water control on my part or a sign of using shitty paints?
