I was friends with some nodraws for a couple of years, both "aspiring artists".
Nothing really specific but every time I'd share with them a story or project I was working on one of them would just repeat what I said but dumbed down and sarcastically. Didn't think too much (even though it annoyed me) about it until I found out years later that they were talking shit about me behind my back.

Looking back it made sense because whenever I'd start a project they'd act really unsupportive and tell me "you'll just give up in a few days" and then open up about how they "didn't think i'd be able to do it" once I succeeded at anything I set out to do.
It felt pretty shitty and I plateaued like crazy during those years because I was afraid of taking risks since I didn't want them saying anymore rude shit to me.

Eventually I cut them off because I realized they were mostly projecting and just crabbing because they never had the balls, confidence, nor discipline to do anything worthwhile.

Since then I've made wonderful gains and am excited to keep it moving meanwhile the nodraws haven't made a single finished piece since I left, let alone improved.
So to other anons, fuck these crabs and keep to your studies.
