Why do artists insist on making figure drawing so intuitive. Every time I try to ask for an explanation it's always some really weird stoner talk like "just feel it bra" or "feel the drawing bruh"

vilppu just explains very vague concepts and then you see some amazing drawings magically appear. Most videos that people link me to are just some old VHS looking videos that barely explain the concepts or run me into that "just feel it brah" talk again.

Why can't I just rig it to the sphere and cylinder primitives and align the contour details to them and then "shade".
(not that this is proper, I never got good results doing just that either)

How the fuck does figure drawing work.
What sort of entropy am I supposed to be analyzing here.
It seems like every time someone tries to explain it they make it seem like some super intuitive thing.
Why can't I just make the usual spheres and cylinders of the form and and just go from there.

How can I constrain a rigid pose into some smooth and simple lines.

Villpu's videos just make it more confusing. He just talks about very vague concepts and you see something amazing magically appear.
