/ic/ - Artwork/Critique

Is it bad to use only boxes to construct bodies? Or should I use more organic shapes? I swap between both depending on what type of body I'm drawing and I don't know if I should stay consistent.

>get frustrated with practicing all the time and not getting any where
>try tracing and photobashing for fun
>"whoa hey that actually looks decent"
>spend hours doing this and tracing over stuff and just adding a few minor touches
>post on tumblr for the lulz
>go to bed
>wake up the next morning and check dashboard
>my traced art got a shit ton of likes and reblogs
>over 600 new followers
>message box flooded with people asking if I do commission work
>get a little nervous, but still continue because I wanted to see how far I could go
>this time get really into it and start tracing and photobashing as my primary method of art
>my "fans" love it
>eventually get depressed because I realize im a fraud and will never live up to that kind of skill that im fooling everyone that they think I have
>quit drawing and abandon that tumblr, haven't made anything since
