Doesn't make a difference.
This is his very first example of a face facing straight on, directly above where he tells you to go halfway up from the center of the sphere.
He proceed to not go halfway up the center of the sphere then base his entire structure of this by his own dictated rules incorrect placement.
And he does this all the time, on every sphere he makes, throughout the entire thing. Not one time does he follow the rules he writes.
