Hmm.. Maybe it's the musculature of the neck and body in conjuction with the head/facial features? Could be that I'm making the neck and shoulders too strong, so they compound the issues with the facial features and have her come off as man-ish.

When I study and work from reference (like pic related, just now), I feel like this issue isn't as apparent. Or maybe it is. Maybe I'm just not drawing enough regularly to be ready to stylize.
