sounds like you're demonstrating avoidant personality disorder type of memes. It's less about what you're "addicted" to and more about having an escape behavior to get lost in when you have anxiety about actual stress.

Generally it's good to know what it is and be able to identify when you're doing it, so you can consciously correct yourself. Like if you can harness that avoidant stress behavior for your creative porpoises it can be great, but you still need to do what you were supposed to do otherwise it's a useless superpower.
