Obviously the rows and columns wouldn't be this tiny. But this format would let you have only 20 "subjects" (types of shapes, portions of anatomy, etc.) and 20 types of exercises ("draw one X ten times", "Design a product based around X", etc.)

Also this way you can weigh the exercises by difficulty (8 rows beginner, 2 rows fuck-you, etc.). And you could have 4 columns for each category (assuming we do 5. - 4 categories would have 5 columns each).
