Yeah this is one in a million level of skill, he's got a sense for perspective and accuracy with repeating shapes that is ridiculous. But idk these artists are not my cup of tea. Same thing with Darrow who's a very similar artist, I used to want to draw like Darrow and tried to aim at those super clean lines but then I appreciated other things and went in a completely different direction.
I think the most important thing is that this guy, in the end, can draw, he's got a voice, he makes honest art. I dislike his work but I don't see how anyone can hate on this.
The only real flaw I saw in him is that he gets too busy with detail (though not nearly as much as Darrow) and his comics are hard to read because he wants to be too experimental. Comics should be simple IMO, get complicated with the art but leave the framework simple.
