Frens, I have just come into the posession of $200 USD.

Assuming I have already pirated everything there is to pirate on /ic/, and already have a robust digital drawing setup, how would you spend this money so as to increase your drawing skill as quickly and as dramatically as possible?

Thanks for your extensive posts, but you're basically telling me to give up on a career in art, right? I'll give up when it gets to that point, but for now I'm gonna keep trying to make it. I haven't given it an honest go yet. I haven't put together an airtight portfolio, nor have I finished actual projects. I'll give up after I try absolutely everything.

So I'm doing the Steve Huston figure drawing thing from the OP.

When we watch him do the master drawings, I don't feel like I learn very much. What should I be looking out for? Should I be drawing along side him?
