That's actually some very creative, if disturbing, taxidermy, and the artist did a great job preserving the difficult (easy to fuck up while skinning/curing) parts like the feet, face, ears, and tail.

Anyway, for me, I'm just less interested in people. As a kid, when we had to do creative writing in class, I wrote about animals or monsters until I was 12 before I started to shift to using human beings as my POV characters. As an artist, I've focused more on the shapes of animals, although I'm just beginning to turn my attention to figure drawing, at almost 27.
