try simplifying it using shapes
for example start on the bangs and use a square across and then form strands and erase the excess lines.
Simplifying the hair strands intosimple shapes further can help when it comes to drawing the hair.
Also if you draw a point in which the hair is coming from it can help give the direction the hair is coming from.
I drew examples that make more sense than I can explain .
