>what better

It's kind of hard to explain.

>pressure levels the same

Mechanically that might be true, but the nib on the Giano's stylus kind of depresses into its shaft when pressure is applied which feels a bit awkward, and it reaches its maximum pressure well before the nib is depressed all the way in. It just seems too easy to achieve maximum pressure, you kind of have to draw quite a bit more lightly with it than you do with a Wacom stylus to get those "in-between" tones. Also it has a battery that needs to be charged, doesn't have an eraser (doesn't necessarily need to be an eraser) or tilt. None of these are close to being deal-breakers in my opinion, but it's something that needs to be said. Is it worth spending twice as much for a used Intuos Large? I guess I really can't say. It depends on your budget I guess.

>footprint

I'm glad you asked, look at this shit. It's hard to see like this, but the Giano actually has a square inch larger active area than the Large and despite that it's much smaller overall.

Mechanically that might be true, but the nib on the Giano's stylus kind of depress into its shaft when pressure is applied which feels a bit awkward, and it reaches its maximum pressure (as far as the software you're using is concerned) well before the nib is depressed all the way in whcih sometimes makes the pressure you're applying less consistent than it'd otherwise be. It just seems too easy to achieve maximum pressure so you kind of have to draw on eggshells. Also it has a battery that needs to be charged, doesn't have an eraser (doesn't necessarily need to be an eraser) or tilt. None of these are dealbreakers in my opinion, but it's something that needs to be said. Is it worth spending twice as much for the Intuos Large? I guess I really don't know.
