How do you feel about having a muse?
This girl in the pic is a life model at one of the studios I go to. I find her absolutely stunning. When I stare at the contours of her body I am almost in a trance. My eyes are so drawn to her I feel as though I am taking in more information than I would an average person. I am truly inspired by her beauty.

Of course I think about having sex with her. But when I fantasize about her I'm not imaging penetrating her, but caressing her body with my hands, feeling every supple curve with my mouth. Analyzing the forms of her body like an architect examines an ancient Roman temple. In a way, drawing her is a more sensual experience than I think fucking her would be. I honestly think if I ever did fuck her it might spoil the experience of drawing her. To serve as a muse, I think perhaps she must remain just ever so out of reach.

Are there any historical examples of artist that fell in love with their muses, but never crossed the line into being physical?
