fucking help me please /ic/.
The prompt for my final project in my college painting class is to take items or a style from 3 different artists or their paintings and to make a painting out of it. We need to have a "narrative" or "message"
Is it just me or does that sound really stupid? Won't the message get completely diluted by the fact that we for literally no reason have to use other painter's work?
My teacher is fucking dumb. When I showed her that I wanted to use Leyendecker she said "OH BUT HE'S JUST COPYING NORMAN ROCKWELL" and gave me a bunch of shit for it because she's an abstract painter.
