Been working a little bit since >>6195508 and I feel much better about the shape of this one. Spent a lot of time looking at anatomy references and staring at my own hand.
I have a habit of making things way too flat as I work on anatomy references, then I try to fix it and turn the thing into a blobby mess. I need to focus much more on the proper 3d form of things from the get go and refine them, rather than doing tons of details that I then fuck up and make look horribly alien as I make major adjustments after the fact.

Mostly, I need to put in a lot more time and work. I've been investing like an hour every couple days. Don't have children if you value your free time.
