I liked the 2015, so I redraw it trying to empathize some of the things that I think make it looks good.

1)Flow. This is the main thing. You did a good job with the head and the hair, almost did it with the pose.

2) Color Harmony: this is something you can fix with color balance at the end, if you can't get right at first. 2015 has a dominant purple tone, 2018 seems more gray.

Anyway I liked the last one you did, watch out the right foot, it's too short.
