Sorry for the sloppy edit to the figure on the right, changes I believe would suit the picture better. You seem to have trouble making the details of the forms on the face in tandem with each other into something appealing. Also I have the impression you have an odd choice of hues (things like skin) and extremely saturated colors. Or perhaps you don't seem to be able to use your palette well. Might just be my imagination though. Other people seemed to have critiqued enough already. Anyways, feel free to ignore whatever you don't like.
