While I THINK some technical aspects have improved over the last year (this being /ic I’m sure y’all will be happy to tell me no aspect of my work is good at all) my art still looks like shit. That is, it doesn’t look like the artists I like. Is “looking like someone else” a good measure of progress? Or at some point would I acknowledge I can only work in my style (if style exists and is t just a crutch) and just try to make that as good as it can be?
