Have you done the "copy these for now" yet? Personally I've spent about six hours just on trying to replicate them while understanding the underlying form as much as possible, and while my heads from imagination still are absolute garbage, they're actually started to take on real form instead of just being weird balls with a few symbol facial features tacked on at approximately the correct locations.

Pic related for trying to draw the first head the first time and again after I'd done the rest of them. That specific head is obviously not a great demonstration of 3d form, and they still both suck, but it's a noticeable improvement I think. Focus on understanding the underlying form, with the caveat I'm still new af.

I'm pretty surprised how much I improved over four days! There's still a very long way to go, but it's pretty encouraging.
