Bros how did shota art become so taboo in such a short time? Are modern people seriously this retarded? Virtue signaling?

I remember just 10 years ago nobody really cared.
People could draw shota and not be thought of as a pedo. People used to know the difference between reality and fiction, about how the representation of a thing is not the same as the thing, then a massive wave of puritanism seemed to hit the web and now only a handful of places can have shota posted.
Was it normies getting access to smartphones?
