i lurk because i feel like there's no point in posting on 4chan for serious discussion, and /ic/ board humor isn't really funny. when you're hanging out with art students all the time and the punchline is always "loomis" or something it gets pretty tiring. the artbook thread is just about the only one i check now.

i also feel that most of the 4chan userbase (or at least the most vocal part of it) are younger guys in their early 20s who are just getting into college. i don't want to spend my free time arguing about useless things, so i can't get along with them.
