People still can post their original work here but the main point of these study threads is to avoid being mindless when copying so that people actually improve which will improve the quality of other threads. If people just post original work they won't be able to self-correct enough and nobody else will be able to properly help because they all suck too. Even in the case of the rare good redlines, the person being critiqued would still need to study (copy and memory draw) that redline in order to gain anything. At that point, you could cut out the middleman and just study art that is similar enough to what you want to create.
