Nah, everybody starts somwhere, my first shit wasnt that good either. A midbeg / high beg is leaps and bounds above the average. And everyone (not completely retarded) can get there eventually, at int you are starting to make some decent shit. Most will not reach mastery but then again for most things it is not necessery .
For what you could do to improve
Give it a bit of simple shadow (even under the bangs, and shade the eyeball, ) , add a tearduct (or imply the tearduct fold of the ryelid.
Work on the messy lines.
Add and Round off some teeth behind the k9's ,
Add a chin
Add tounge
Cant help you with hair though.
