Good advice except for one thing: You NEED to go out and see the classical and esteemed art in your country. Seeing a greek statue in the flesh will make even Hogarth's poses look awkward and wooden, seeing the depth and attention to detail in a 19th century neoclassical piece will make your favourite illustrator look like a novice chickenscratcher, seeing the composition and imagination in a piece will make Kim Jung look like a doodler (he is <3) and you'll laugh looking at the top art instagram posts of the day after seeing the pure, raw pursuit of beauty mestasticised across 2500 years of Europe. Not even fedoralord or pretentious art student, I always jaw drop walking into a national gallery, Londonistan has some incredible places. Its pretty much the only reason I have and want to travel to another country - I want to see things like the Slav Epic in the paint before they get burned or sold by jews.
