I would like to hear your advice on how is the proces to create a color palette.

Most color theory videos teach how to use the color wheel as a guide for mixing colors. But how can I choose the colors that I will use in my paintings?

What is the process in which an artist decides what color palette he uses and how he obtains it?

Starting with my "primary" pigments, what would be the method to obtain the colors of my final painting?

How from the basic colors I get my palette?
