I'm shit and I want to get better by practicing. The only thing holding me up is the actual drawing. I can get decent results by drawing with physical media but I keep missing a Ctrl +Z whenever I fuck up or the ease of shading with layers.

I've bought a tablet to draw with but it's one of the cheaper ones that doesn't have a screen. I find looking at the monitor and trying to match that with the tablet feels really unnatural and makes me not want to keep using it which in turn means I'm not practicing and not getting better. Would it be worth investing into a tablet with a screen like an iPad? A lot of the artists I like and follow use iPads with procreate but I want to know if $500 is an investment that might be worth it. It's not a huge deal to save that up but I don't want to make this a sunken cost kind of hobby.
