why is it so painfully obvious to tell when a western tries to draw anime? like seriously this question has been bugging me for years, I study loomis, proportions, anatomy etc yet some jap on discord or twitter who claims to have only copied mangaka they like can draw anime with ease and make it look and feel like manga. This is just makes me so unmotivated and makes me want to give up. Sorry just had to get this off my chest.
