i know it's my fault too, i use drawing as sort of escapism from everything else in my life that already sucks (work, school, etc) so i tend to do mindless stuff and expect it to look good. i read books and draw every single them, but i usually dont draw things by observation because it always turns out like garbage, i used to but i stopped trying.

thank you anon. i'm kinda at the point where i've read like every single book on the fundamentals, loomis, vilppe, hampton, and even got some courses from places like ctrl paint
im stuck at gesture drawing. i do it every single day and render gestures i see from places like quickposes etc but at the end of the day i still have no idea what to do when i go draw. i was long avert from studies because i didn't want to copy so it just made this cycle where i only put out garbage and didnt want to improve. at this point i know its my fault but i'm just too done with life in general to even care anymore
