Can anyone recommend me some action manga that are relatively down to earth? I've realized that despite writing a very low-magic setting, mostly focused on characters, most of my influences are high power level energy-blasts-and-explosions manga. I've watched plenty of movies with great hand-to-hand fight scenes, but I want to see how it's done in a manga too

Yeah. Art is too nebulous to make predictions on. Maybe AI will take over the industry in a year. Maybe it'll take fifty. Maybe it'll never progress much further with our current models. Maybe AI will take over some parts of the industry, but storytelling-focused art will always remain human dominated. Who knows.

For all I know humanity could be FUCKED within the next 10 years. There are some signs that point in that direction. I'd still like to not be doom and gloom over a future I can't be certain about.

Why is it that on a board for drawing, people seem fucking allergic to the concept?
