Early /beg/ here. I practiced with nothing but ink/fineliners these past 3 weeks, I noticed today that using a pencil for basically the first time since I started made my lines/forms look very satisfying. Felt like taking the training weights off if that makes sense.
I obviously understand that practicing dynamic (hard vs. soft pencil etc.) is also important, but it seems to me that doing a lot of exercises in ink to bring out my mistakes much more just makes a ton of sense, why isn't this recommended more often?
