I've spent the last half hour searching for a good gallery of high res Craig Mullins paintings. Post em if you got em!

This. The focal points are what matters, and if they're readable, clear, and pleasant to the eye the job is done. All they need to do is vaguely indicate what the other shapes are, so you can figure out through context. This is not a failure, its' a master's ability to portray something readable with as little detail as possible.

In my pic related, those blobs on the bottom are people. It's obvious, it's unmistakeable, and then you actually look and they're just blobs. They don't matter though, the focus is obviously Ezio "The Realest" Auditore.
