You could be 80 and become a good artist.

It is just about practice. You are 8 hours in, you don't just magically improve instantly like you were playing a video game. But if you keep at it you will eventually get better, just keep practicing and drawing, and pay attention to your mistakes, and find out how to avoid and correct them.

I can't draw for shit either, but if I keep at it I reckon I can be decent after 6-12 months.
