You mean Scott Robertson? Well he admitted there is no easy way. My pic in >>6200471 show the part where he demonstrates it. If you look carefully, he draws an elipse, knowing that an elipse is a circle in perspective, then draws the box around it. (Since a rectangle drawn around a circle is a square.) Not the other way around. This assumes you have experience drawing elipses (he says to practice this a lot.) For further study, the way scott suggest to draw a perfect cube is also by basing the faces around elipses.
