Wish you all the best though, so long as you aren't one of the sharia law supporting types. I spent the day in local mosque once when they had an open day and they were lovely people, exactly like christian places I've been or the sikhs, etc.

But sharia law is from the middle ages. Beheading people for leaving the faith, cutting off hands for theft, Pakistan imams calling the votes on outlawing wife beating and child marriages "anti-islamic" and shit like that is too far. The media and governments refusing to talk about any of it are just as bad, if anything they make the problem worse, leading people to go onto cesspools like pol or nazi reddit boards to complain about the extremists, where they learn to hate ALL muslims.

If we could just talk about things freely, and not be afraid of statistics or discussion, then maybe Islam could be reformed or even just split into two groups; the modern, live and let live religion like most other chill religions, and the fucking crazy kill everyone for being haram extremists who will never be happy, never be peaceful, and never assimilate into other cultures. Gotta leave them to their own devices like the Saudis or Pakistanis.

Not gonna happen though, especially since saying anything against Islam at all will get you arrested in the EU, beaten and arrested in the US, and straight up executed in the middle east.
