1. Make a google document with the name of the subject matter, then the book and teacher's name
2. Write down an explanation of which fundamental the book teaches, why I need to learn it and what my goals wiht it are
3. Divide the book/seminar in weeks or chapters.
4. Read 1 Chapter, write down my own understanding of it in the google document
5. Finish off by giving myself homework on it, and take a snap shot to paste it into said google document
6. Move onto the next chapter and repeat

This is the best way to actually learn on your own, you only truly understand things when you are forced to explain them to yourself in written form, then you are forced to apply it.

I am actually doing this exact same thing with that book you just posted. I have to do 100 figures, I got 10 down so far. I gave myself an explanation of the core ideas, from the 8 parts of the body to the rythm, story, balance, weight, CSI lines and the metholodgy applied step by step (Finding the head, then the spine, then into the pelvis using repetition lines that add flow and gesture to it, before placing wrapping lines).
