I stopped at the 250 boxes challenge like pretty much everyone else.

I don't think the challenge's difficulty is the sole reason people stop, I think people just realize putting in this much effort isn't worth it when the course teacher draws kinda dogshit.
It's weird because he really does know his shit well and is generally right... but his art just sucks.

I'd say its worth giving DrawABox a try because you'll probably learn some good things from it but goddamn the moment you start losing interest, dip the fuck out and pick up some different material.
I can't stress enough how important it is to capture appeal in art and this dude doesn't seem to know anything about appeal at all.
