Is it better to use reference by having the reference be on the same page you are looking at when drawing, or having the reference be on a different screen (so you have to look up when you need to look at the reference, rather than just looking to the side with your eyes)?

I did the left image with the "Look up at the other screen" method when referencing, but the right, I had the reference on the same page/screen when looking at it.

Do you guys know if it's better for learning to have the reference on another screen or on the same page as the sketch you are drawing?

Tada, how does it look now? I did take my time with it but didn't want to go too over kill...clearly an improvement but not as good as your one.
