I understand that focusing on improving your drawing skills can be challenging, especially when dealing with conditions like autism and ADHD. However, there are several strategies you can try to make the process more manageable and enjoyable:

Break Tasks into Smaller Steps: Rather than aiming for a complete masterpiece in one go, break down your drawing goals into smaller, achievable tasks. This can make the process feel less overwhelming and more manageable.

Set a Timer: Set a timer for a short period, like 10-15 minutes, and commit to working on your drawing for that amount of time. This technique, known as the Pomodoro Technique, can help you stay focused for shorter bursts of time.

Create a Routine: Establish a consistent routine for practicing drawing. This can help your brain associate a specific time or place with the activity, making it easier to transition into focused drawing sessions.

Choose a Comfortable Environment: Find a quiet and comfortable space to work on your drawings. Minimizing distractions in your environment can help improve your focus.

Use Visual Prompts: If you struggle to come up with ideas to draw, consider using visual prompts or references. You can find websites or apps that offer a wide range of drawing prompts to spark your creativity.

Start with Short Sessions: Start with shorter drawing sessions and gradually increase the duration as your focus improves. Over time, you might find it easier to sustain longer periods of creative work.

Experiment with Different Techniques: Don't be afraid to try different drawing techniques or mediums. Experimenting can keep the process interesting and engaging, making it more likely that you'll stay focused.

Reward Yourself: Set up a system of rewards for completing drawing sessions. It could be something as simple as a favorite snack or a short break to check your phone.

>Does anyone have any tips or experience with drawing while sleep deprived?
I have a lot of experience with sleep deprivation and drawing. Basically, if you are sleep deprived life is drained of all meaning and becomes a living hell. Drawing is pointless in such a scenario. I hear legends of mangaka , but I imagine they can also lift mountains and fly like goku.

>You can have multiple healthy sleep patters so long as you hit the 6-8 hours a day
>Like 2 hours of sleep every 3 hours
this is what I do, although it may be impractical for a non-NEET
