Lazy people deserve no reward.

If you want to make a census, you ask 1000000000000000000000000000 questions of which you're looking for just 3 answers, otherwise people will rebel and skew things. Because they can.

Are you illiterate? I mentioned several Western artists I like.

What matters to the discussion at hand is the average, the mainstream, the common trends. At that, Japan has the upper hand and more successful mindset.

Well it was more of a bait thread because I was bored. Not because I was 'pretending to be retarded.' That was just to pry and see how stubborn people would be even if I explained every reason for my incompetence. I learned that 'just draw' spouters are non-determinist NPCs. They think information comes from thin air and refuse to acknowledge the ridiculousness of that assumption.

Doesn't matter if someone doesn't learn it themselves. It's ok to teach people and there are things people can't/don't know. It's just that this place is full of garbage humans that they are so willing to blame them and not themselves for their near meaningless advice. But as I go on I'm realizing that all of these people are just acting in bad faith and that I'm wasting my time trying to get through to them.

And yet I still reply seriously to them. Truthfully, I never tried to draw anime, only did my fundamentals and doodles with it. But I brought it up as a topic because I recently started to study it and I realized it was hard, so I made up a story with it.
Sorry for mislead you, anon.

But it is mostly terrible advice. At least in the way that it's presented here. If you're a person struggling with anxiety or overthinking it is good advice, but sadly beginners (And even retarded, naive intermediates) take the advice and give it to others in literally every other instance.
Completely new beginner:
>How do I improve guys, I've been drawing but nothing's changed
Retarded parrot:
>Just draw bro XDDD
Beginner:
>I have been just drawing for 5 years now and I'm still garbage
Retarded parrot:
>Well you're doing it wrong you fucking retard

If all a beginner hears from this retarded place is 'just draw' as a solution, that leaves no room for them learning how to critically think. Critically thinking doesn't come naturally to a lot of people, which is why when it is explained, people improve a lot more. To assume this beginner is going to figure out critical thinking by chance is insanely retarded since most of these people haven't had a hobby or situation where critical thinking was necessary. School included, at least for the average joe. This advice implies all that's needed is to just draw to improve, which is true but it leaves out so much information that a beginner doesn't have at the moment. Then the parrot is surprised his garbage advice only went as far as it could have in improvement.

Actually, it's not terrible advice, but it's used terribly by people who have no idea what they're talking about.

I can understand the first two but you don't think 'just draw' isn't retarded? I think that's because you never had to actively think about it. For me, I never really had to worry about it because as I was learning other stuff before trying to draw I was taught the proper way to learn along the way. Never having to think about improving in the most efficient way, because it was presented to me by my peers as I grew.
At the time I didn't give a shit about improving as much as I do now so I never worried about it and just did it. But that's where the problem is. I just did it. We're missing a key component to what I did there and how it actually went down. I just did it, but over the course of just doing it I was introduced to ways of practice, methods of learning, healthy mindsets, etc.

Now. Take someone who probably doesn't visit art/animation communities. Take this person and put them into a position where they practice themselves. Look at tutorials. Copy. And over the course of a year they improve. But... Not as much as others who have deliberately practice. Why is that? They just drew like they were told but all they did was copy. They may be able to draw something but what about from imagination?
Me, as a person who just did what I enjoyed and picked up criticism and advice along the way, never even realized what I had picked up. The same could be said for ANYONE who has drawn or done any activity for a long time. The same can't be said for a complete beginner who doesn't know anything about anything. Whether that be improving, learning to draw from imagination in the most efficient way, or realizing you need to suck to get better.

Just draw is missing that fundamental context and so many people don't acknowledge it because they don't know what they do know and what others don't know.
There must be a word for it and something that comes to mind is fundamental attribution error but I know that's not right. Where they assume others know what they do.

Why are wacom drivers so shit?

I seriously considered whether autistically breaking it for temporary satisfaction was a better option than the torment I face trying to get this turd of a device to work. The tablet turns off randomly even though I'm nowhere near it and tells me the usb malfunctioned. The tablet doesn't work with any other new and previously tested USBs.
One minute it will be perfectly fine. The next it turns off and doesn't connect again unless I time plugging it in and restarting the driver perfectly. Only then will it start working just to do it again. I've uninstalled and reinstalled all drivers over and over again and they all work great, until they hit what I assume is a timer set by windows or wacom to completely fuck it up and make it stop working.

I'm starting to feel like the shit drivers are to get you to buy more expensive tablets. They could be easily fixed but they aren't.
Is there a way to permanently fix this stupid piece of shit? Is it true that it works perfectly on other operating systems?
