The way I learn things is weird for lack of a better word. I NEED a teacher to teach me basics and once I reach an intermediate level, I can do self-learning. When I try to teach myself the stuff it just doesn't work, I don't want to hear "but anon, just try harder quit being lazy" because I seriously can't teach myself for shit. Now it's obvious that I should go find a teacher right? I signed up for drawing classes in my community college and it turns out that my professor didn't know shit and his "art" was the bullshit "anything can be art" thing. Drawing is something that I REALLY want to be able to do but I need someone to help me with the first few steps. Does anyone know what I feel right now? How or where do I go to look for a decent teacher and not waste my fucking money on some hippie telling me that everything is art. I tried a search on local art classes but that isn't really helping. I'm in Central Florida if that can help anyone recommend a teacher or something.
