Nah, that’s Onigiri. I finally figured out what I wanted to do with Tiger Square, and once all the pieces fit together I cooked up a quick little pilot for it. I’ll be showing both off, but I’m leaning more toward wanting to do TS first as it’s more fun to write/easier.

The more I work on Alice, the more I can tell it’s going to be a very deep story that’ll require lot’s of precise writing. Not the sort of thing you can “make up as you go along.” So I’m leaning toward getting TS published while we build/write Alice during spare time. And then start/drawing publishing Alice once it’s ready. There’s definitely a message we wanna tell with that story, but to get it right, it’ll require a lot of editing.

eSports manga is also back on the cards as an eventual project, once we decided to cut Rika out who was an emo drag. That manga idea works way better being more tongue-in-cheek and focused heavily on coming of age/youthful masculinity. More Slam Dunk less.... whatever we were making.

Thanks man. I’ll be reporting back once I get some feedback. I feel pretty confident about everything I’ll be showing off. Both Pilots, Alice and Tiger Square are pretty solid all around I feel. I’m fairly satisfied with both. My friend Momo is also translating for me, and she’s interested in being professionally hired by us should things go through. She’s native in both Eng and JP, so that’s a massive boost.

We’ll see how things go, but I have a pretty good feeling overall.
