Well, it's certainly good advice for /ic/.

The amount of effort people here put into finding fault with professional artists' work would be much better spent improving their own art.

This is especially relevant to Ilya threads.

I've been trying to stay away from graphic design for almost 20 years. Every time I mentioned I was an artist, growing up, people would say, "Oh you can be a Graphic Designer!"

At least it's better than the people who suggested I become a tattoo artist.
