Nope, experimentation very good. It's going to take a long time for you to find your artistic voice. All artists are inspired by other art. Though, I would recommend you to segment periods for each artists to really commit the way they draw to muscle memory and gain a better understanding on the nuances of how they draw.

Draw their drawing, draw their drawing again, draw their drawing while not looking at the ref, take time to just look at the specific drawing and break it down with your eyes, take time to look at a bunch of their drawings to see their art progression or general trends, draw a mannequin of their drawing, draw a mannequin over their drawing, draw anatomy over their drawing, draw their drawing from a completely different angles (better to use multiple refs if you can), draw your own drawing of the same character while using their's as a ref (use multiple refs), draw something new while using their drawings as refs, draw something from imagination while keeping what you learned from studying their art in mind. A trick you can use is always keeping a folder of their art as a ref you can pull up whenever you're have difficulty drawing their work or your own work

Of course, learn your fundies and just draw from imagination. This is meant to supplement your fundies studying. Between fundies, anime studying, drawing from imagination, just feel your way into what kind of routine gives you the most gains. Anime studying will be more beneficial the more you understand fundies and theory simply because you have more tools on how to examine art and deconstruct things. Really, all this advice would benefit you much more the more intermediate of an artists are. Learning to see is absolutely most important.

what better way is there to learn intuitive perspective than to learn it formally

also adding VPs is piss easy, the first one is always free, then make another 90o angle, repeat for each new set of VPs you need
The COV also doesnt change at all either once its set up and you can reuse any grids youve spent 5 minutes making infinitely
