No. I can work 8 hours a day and draw nearly as long and still stay in shape and have some semblance of a social life. Get off your ass, man. Most of the artists I know are thin or even built.

Pic very VERY fucking related. The only person that looks particularly unhealthy is probably in his fucking late 50's at the youngest. Don't use art or anything else for that matter as an excuse to trap yourself in your own body my man. Being at least somewhat physically, mentally and emotionally healthy is fucking KEY to success in just about fucking anything and there's tons of overlap between all three of them, my nigga, my dawg, my fam.
