I'm done. I rack disciprine. I started in april, as a complete pre beg, literally haven't touched a pencil since I was in school. I at most draw 1-2 hours a day, and it's mostly just scribbles or 2-5 gesture drawings/quick copies and or volumes.

I need a idiot proof way to improve, but when I follow something like the david finch guide, I instantly become demotivated because 1. I don't know how to learn from books, should i just copy them? Just read them? Only do the exercises?
2. I become demotivated because it's not fun learning. My brain can't seem grasp the concept of delayed gratification. I don't know how to build up a drawing from the ground up, when I'm trying to do a nice background in perspective it just seems like so much work for a fucking background of one panel.
I'm broken, buck broken. Something is wrong with my brain. I tried a mental health clinic, I tried antidepressants, nothing worked. My next plan is to go out in the forest and gather some shrooms maybe they can help me. I'm literally out of options. Maybe I pick the wrong ones and finally die.

Today's 5 minute studies. Some from photo reference, some from Yoh yoshinari's sketchbook, trying to quickly draw these was fun
