Murata is one of the most talented and skilled people in the whole fucking industry, not to mention a perfectionist. You need years of rigorous practice and professional education to match his skill level. Most of his art puts even great comic book artists to shame.
And that's why I think he's a good inspiration. His example would push you to your limits, and that's not something that can be said about most Japanese artists. Many /beg/s tell themselves that they don't need anatomy, object drawing and naked Greek dudes to draw anime - well, you will never be able to draw like Murata without anatomy, object drawing and naked Greek dudes.
